I’m in a chapter where two big things are happening at once.
Our family is in the final stretch before our daughter heads off to college, and at the same time, I’m relaunching myself creatively — returning to the part of me that loved blogging and publishing years ago.
It started when I shared an old Travelers’ Tales story with a group of mom friends. I hadn’t read my own words since before Cora was born, and while the connection to that earlier creative moxie felt faint, it was still there. I found myself saying out loud that I wanted to spend the rest of my years finding my way back to that creative spirit — and not long after, the idea for this newsletter took shape, reminding me of my first blog, Written Road.
Next Chapter Together carries that same spirit: part personal journey, part shared resource. I write about family, the road to college, and what comes next — along with what I’m learning as I experiment with digital products, creative work, and building something new in midlife.
If you’re navigating a transition of your own, you’re welcome here.
